Your data,
handled properly.
This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We've written it in plain language — the way we'd want to read it ourselves.

1. Who we are
Wolkom Technologies LLP ("Wolkomtech", "we", "us") is a limited liability partnership registered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, operating this website. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act"), we act as the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website — meaning we decide why and how that data is processed.
This policy covers this website only. Personal data processed during client engagements (project data, code, and confidential materials) is governed by the individual agreements and non-disclosure agreements signed for those engagements.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you:
- Contact form submissions: your name, work email address, company name, the service you're interested in, and any project details you choose to share with us.
- Direct emails: whatever information you include when you email us at info@wolkomtech.com.
- Technical data: our hosting provider and the third-party services described below may automatically record standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) when you use this site.
We do not collect payment details, passwords, or account credentials through this website, and we do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data (such as health, biometric, or financial data) through the site.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and prepare proposals or assessments relevant to your project
- To communicate about engagements you choose to begin with us
- To maintain records as required by applicable Indian law
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We do not add you to marketing lists based on an inquiry — if we ever communicate beyond your inquiry, it will be because you asked us to.
4. Third-party services
This website relies on a small number of third-party services:
- Web3Forms — our contact form is processed through Web3Forms' API, which forwards submissions to our email. Your form data passes through their servers before reaching us; their privacy policy governs that transmission.
- Google Fonts and content delivery networks (CDNs) — used to load fonts and libraries; these providers may log your IP address and technical data when pages load.
- Hosting and email providers — where this site is hosted and where our communications are stored.
These providers process data on our behalf or as independent operators under their own policies. We choose established providers and keep the list intentionally short.
5. Cookies
This website does not set advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this section and, where required, seek your consent before enabling them.
6. Data retention
We keep inquiry data only as long as needed to respond to you and for the business relationship that may follow. Client engagement data is retained according to the terms of the applicable agreement and applicable legal requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit for data sent to us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we limit what we collect in the first place, which is the strongest protection available.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it
- Request correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request erasure of your data, subject to legal retention obligations
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf
- Raise a grievance with us about how your data has been handled
To exercise any of these rights, email our Grievance Officer (below). We will respond within a reasonable period and act on valid requests as required by law.
9. Children
This website is intended for business users and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
Some of the third-party services listed above (such as Web3Forms and Google Fonts) may process data outside India. By using this website, you consent to such transfers as permitted under the DPDP Act. Where we transfer data as part of a client engagement, transfer terms are handled in the engagement agreement.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and material changes will be noted here.
